How it works

1. Install the profile once and it stays in the phone.
2. Top up the balance on your account.
3. When you land, the phone connects and data is charged at that country rate.
4. Back home, nothing is charged until you switch data on for that profile again.

When a destination plan is better

If you know you are going to one country for a week or more and will use more than two gigabytes, the destination plan is almost always cheaper. The global profile earns its place on short, unpredictable trips.

Staying in control

Your account shows usage by day and by country, along with the per gigabyte rate for where you are. When the balance falls below a threshold you set, you get a notification, and you can switch on automatic top-up.
